DocPoint, the leading documentary film festival in Helsinki, is again this year organizing an impact development program for Finnish filmmakers. Ove Rishøj Jensen is one of the workshop tutors.

The first part was conducted online.

The first part of the 2020 DocPoint Impact workshop program took place on March 19-20. Due to the current COVID19 situation, the workshop was changed from the planned on-site event in Helsinki to be conducted online.

Entitled DocPoint Impact the two-part workshop focuses on creating impact with documentary films. The vision is to train film makers and invite social actors and organisations to be part of a chain leading to a better tomorrow. This is the third edition of the workshop.

During the workshop strategies and tools for creating effective impact campaigns are introduced and the selected group of documentary makers get concrete feedback on the impact possibilities for their projects.

Tutors of the workshop are Anna Ljungmark from House of Real and Ove Rishøj Jensen. The second part of the program will take place on May 11-13.
