PROJECT SELECTION FOR DocCeleratorStory


An intimate portrait of a middle-class family in North Dakota, flowing through the Arctic tundra and a warmhearted journey into the sea of grief. These are among the stories selected for the upcoming DocCeleratorStory workshop.

 

The six projects selected for DocCeleratorStory spans great diversity in filmic approaches and story content. The six projects are:

Protagonist Eros Director and Producer Yannis Bletas, Greece

A Perfect Family Director Elizabeth Chatelain, Producer Franziska Schönenberger, Germany/USA

Illusion Director Kaisa Salmi, Producer Liisa Karpo, Finland

Eanuid Eadni - The River Speaks Co-Director & Producer Bob Coen, Co-Director Inga-Wiktoria Påve, USA/Finland.

God, Please Send a Whale Director Julie Madsen, Producer Katrine A. Sahlstrøm, Denmark

Sunken Director/writer Dimitris Gkotsis, Co-Writer George Zafeiropoulos, Producer Mina Dreki, Greece

 

This edition of DocCeleratorStory is taking place on February 24-25, 2022.


The workshop is part of the DocCelerator workshop series, that consists of a number of stand-alone documentary workshops. Each one is providing detailed input to documentary makers, at different stages of project development and production.
